Kathmandu, 2 May: The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,325 with 27 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 7,211 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 336,030.
Kathmandu district recorded 2,744 infection cases, Lalitpur 550 and Bhaktapur district recorded 301 cases according to the MoHP. Today 1,612 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 283,994. As of today, there are 48,711 active cases of infection across the country.
