Kathmandu, 1 May: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturay the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,495 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 328,893.
Kathmandu district recorded 1,932 infection cases, Lalitpur 355 and Bhaktapur district recorded 208 cases according to the MoHP. Today 1,287 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 282,382. As of today, there are 43,213 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,298 with 19 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
