Kathmandu, 1 May: A meeting of the Covid-19 Crisis Management Centre (CCMC) has recommended closure of 22 different points of Nepal-India border in the wake of massive spread of Corona Virus in the country.
It has also made recommendations for the containment of the virus by enforcing prohibitory orders strictly. The CCMC meeting reviewed the ongoing prohibitory order issued in different districts, and supplies of essential goods and services.
It may be recalled that the government through the April 26 Cabinet decision had issued an order relating to the prevention and control of the second wave of the pandemic characterized by the new variant, the DPM said this move was taken bearing in mind the state’s responsibility towards the citizens.
