Kathmandu, 29 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Thursday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 4,831 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 317,530.
Kathmandu district recorded 1,127 infection cases, Lalitpur 252 and Bhaktapur district recorded 182 cases according to the MoHP. Today 888 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,246 with 35 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
