Kathmandu, 26 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 3,442 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 303,561.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,912 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 378 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 277,951. As of today, there are 22,434 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,176 with 12 fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
