Kathmandu, 26 April: As some of the officials of the Kathmandu District Administration Office(DAO) tested positive for the Corona virus it has decided to suspend all non-essential services for a week effective from today.
Viewing the surge of Covid-19 cases the Lalitpur and Bhaktapur District Administration Office have also decided to halt their services other than essential ones for a week. Services like issuance of new citizen-ship certificates, their photocopies, ID to minors, passports and its recommendation, renewal of weapons, registration of institutions, newspapers and their renewal have been suspended.
