Kathmandu, 26 April: Twenty-eight members of the Gandaki Provincial Assembly have tabled a no-confidence motion against the Chief Minister (CM) Prithvi Subba Gurung at the Provincial Assembly.
Assembly members of the Nepali Congress, Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) and Janata Samajbadi Party had registered the no-confidence motion against CM Gurung on April 15. Gandaki Provincial Assembly has 27 UML lawmakers while the Nepali Congress has 15, Maoist Centre 11 and Rastriya Janamorcha 3, and the Janata Samajbadi Party has two assembly members.
