Kathmandu, 25 April: Prime Minister and UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli has called an emergency meeting of the national convention organizing committee today when he was informed about preparation for registering a no-confidence motion against the government by the Madhav Nepal faction in the parliament.
The meeting is likely to suspend some MPs including Madhav Nepal and Bhim Rawal in the Nepal faction, said a UML source.
The UML statute has authorized the party to suspend the MP for six months if he is found involved in the activities creating a loss to the party, according to reports in several online portals.
