Kathmandu, 23 April: The second round talks between Prime Minister and UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli and senior party leader Madhav Nepal ended inconclusively.
Nepal said that the one-on-talks between the two leaders Thursday was bitter than the previous one-on-one talks.
Nepal blamed that Oli is reluctant for keeping the party unified.
On the other hand, in the Janata Samajbadi Party, Mahantha Thakur and Rajendra Mahato are positive towards Oli. They are of the view of supporting the Oli led government if the government will take back cases against the party workers who were involved in Tarai agitation and start the legal process to release those party cadres who are in jail, including Resham Chaudhari.
Meanwhile, Upendra Yadav and Baburam Bhattarai are against Thakur and Mahato. If Thakur and Mahato will decide to support the government, at that time, the JSP may also face a split, say political observers.
