Kathmandu, 22 April: Nepal has recorded gradual increase in coronavirus infection every other day. The Ministry of Health and Population recorded 2,351 new cases of coronavirus infection in the country . Among the infected, the Kathmandu Valley alone witnessed 1,051 cases of infections. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) Bhaktapur recorded 84 cases while Lalitpur had 181 and Kathmandu 786
Last Friday, there were 900 cases which gradually increased- 842 on Saturday; 1,096 on Sunday; 1,281 on Monday; and 1736 on Tuesday. With the latest addition, the total number of infection in the country has reached 289,787.On Wednesday six persons lost lives to Covid-19. With this, the total fatalities has climbed to 3112.
