Kathmandu, 20 April: The CPN (UML) 10th General Convention Organizing Committee (GCOC) meeting has decided to seek clarification from eight UML leaders for breaching the code of conduct of the party. The GCOC decided to again ask clarification from Madhav Kumar Nepal, Bhim Rawal, Surendra Pandey and Ghanashyam Bhusal as their previous clarification was not satisfactory and to those province lawmakers who crossed the party whip in Karnali province.
The meeting has also formed a three-member taskforce to allocate the responsibility of central members. The task force comprises Bishnu Poudel, Shankar Pokharel and Top Bahadur Rayamajhi. Party Chair Khadga Oli directed cadres to be ready for elections as it could be announced at any time as the restored House of Representatives (HoR) was failing to stabilize the political crisis.
