Kathmandu, 18 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Sunday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,015 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 284,673.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 435 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 262 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 275,300. As of today, there are 6,290 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,083 with eight fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
