
Kathmandu, 18 April: Former King Gyanendra and his spouse Komal Shah, competing their India visit, have arrived home this afternoon. Upon their arrival the Tribhuwan International Airport, a huge number of Nepalis greeted them despite resurgence of Covid-19 pandemic.
The former royal couple, during their stay in India paid homage to Ganga, participated in religious programmes including the Kumbha Mela (thousands of people taking a holy dip/bath in the sacred river Ganga) at Haridwar. The ex King and Queen also spent some time in the Indian Capital, New Delhi.
