Kathmandu, 16 April: Province Assembly members from the Nepali Congress, Maoist Centre and Janata Samajbadi Party-Nepal have tabled a proposal of no-confidence against Gandaki Province Chief Minister Prithvi Subba Gurung.
The parties have recommended Krishna Chandra Nepali of Nepali Congress as the new Chief Minister of the province. However, the Gandaki Province government prorogued the Province’s session Wednesday midnight. Members of the opposition parties submitted the no-confidence motion against Gurung to Gandaki Province Assembly Speaker.
