Kathmandu, 13 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 534 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 282,054.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 196 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 157 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 274,604. As of today, there are 4,384 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,066 with five fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
