Kathmandu, 13 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 517 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 280,984.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 201 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 153 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 274,318. As of today, there are 3,608 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,058 with five fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
