Kathmandu, 10 April: The meeting among the Nepali Congress, Maoist Center and Janata Samajbadi Party called by NC president Sher Bahadur Deuba at his residence 9 April ended inclusively.
Deuba had urged for the formation of an alternative government under his leadership to hold general elections.
Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda had supported Deuba’s proposal, however, Mahanta Thakur, chairman, JSP, said that as his party is engaged in fulfilling the party’s long-standing demands from the government, his party is not in a mood to topple down the K.P. Sharma Oli led government.
After JSP’s refusal, the meeting ended inclusively.
