Kathmandu, 5 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 266 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 278,210.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 137 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 102 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 273,342. As of today, there are 1,832 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,036 with two fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
