Kathmandu, 5 April: The political future of the nation is dependent upon the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP)’s decision.
Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda was highly encouraged by the Nepali congress’ decision of taking initiative for giving an alternative government under its leadership. Prachanda had said that very soon an alternative government would topple down the Oli led government. The Maoist Center had thus planned to register a vote of no confidence against the Oli led government in the Parliament on Sunday. The Center was unable to register the motion as it was unable to manage the necessary number to topple down Oli.
The JSP leaders are seen divided into two factions. One faction led by Mahanta Thakur and Rajendra Mahato is seen close to Oli whereas Upendra Yadav and Baburam Bhattarai are against Oli.
In the Nepali Congress also, party president Sher Bahadur Deuba wants to wait until the JSP decision, whereas, Krishna Shitaula and Ramchandra Poudel are in a hurry to form an alternative government as soon as possible.
If Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli will be able to manage JSP, the present government can continue for the rest of the Parliament tenure.
