Kathmandu, 3 April: The Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) held on Friday evening has sought resignation of Prime Minister Khadga Oli. It has also decided to form a coalition government with backing of Maoist Centre and Janta Samajwadi Party (JSP).
Prior to this, President Sher Bahadur Deuba, leader Ram Chandra Poudel, Krishna Situala and other leaders held informal talks to oust Oli and take a lead role in forming a coalition government.
