Kathmandu, 2 April: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Friday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 179 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 277,640.
The Bagmati province recorded 119 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 111 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 272,962. As of today, there are 1,647 active cases of infection across the country.
