Senior Communist leader Manandhar passed away on Monday at the age of 91 while receiving treatment at Patan Hospital, Lalitpur.
Leader Manandhar who never assume the office of profit has been living a simple life.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed sadness over the demise of senior communist leader Manandhar and extended condolences to the bereaved family members.
Prime Minister Oli recalled the significant role Manandhar played in forming the Joint Left Front during the People’s Movement of 1990 as the chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (United).
