Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that social security allowance will be increased from the next fiscal year.
Speaking at a programme organised to mark the 23rd anniversary of the Reporter’s Club Nepal on Tuesday, Prime Minister Oli said the social security allowance would be increased from mid-July this year, the beginning of the next fiscal year.
“We have done a lot of work in the area of social security, including social security based on personal contribution,” said Prime Minister Oli.
The social security allowance will be increased even if some people disagree with the decision, said Prime Minister Oli.
