Kathmandu, 30 March: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Tuesday the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 167 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 277,147.
The Bagmati Province recorded 130 infection cases, according to the MoHP. Today 115 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 272,727. As of today, there are 1,390 active cases of infection across the country.
The number of the death-toll from the deadly virus has reached 3,030 with two fatalities reported today, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
