Kathmandu, 30 March: The Government has formed a three-member talks team led by Minister for Home Affairs Ram Bahadur Thapa to address the demands raised by the Tharuhat Movement.
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Parbat Gurung in a press meet on Monday,shared that the talks team has been tasked with addressing various 19-points demands put forth by Tharu Welfare Assembly (Sabha), Tharuhat-Tharuwan Joint Struggle Committee and Central Joint Mobilization Committee Adnolan Parichalan Samiti. The two other members in the talk team are Prime Minister’s press advisor on foreign affairs Rajan Bhattarai and former parliamentarian Bhagawati Chaudhary.
