Kathmandu, 26 March: Prime Minister and UML chairman K.P. Sharma Oli is intended to oust Madhav Nepal and three others after they submitted clarification to the party headquarters Thursday. The four dissident leaders have submitted their clarification challenging the chairman’s unconstitutional decisions.
Presently, Oli has become strong in the party and also in the government as Janata Samajbadi Party has shown gesture to support the Oli led government.
If Oli will receive the vote of confidence from the House, his opponents cannot register another no-confidence motion until the next year.
The Nepal faction in the UML has decided to run a parallel organization within the party and challenge the establishment faction, however, Oli wants to permanently eliminate the existence of the Nepal faction in the party and thus, wants to terminate the four leaders including Madhav Nepal from the party, say UML closed observers.
