Kathmandu, 25 March: It has become one month since the Supreme Court had restored the House of Representatives (HoR) but the restored House has not been able to get business. There has been seen a deadlock in the House as it has not been able to topple down the government nor elect a new government. Furthermore, the House is unable to endorse many important bills.
More interestingly, the Maoist Center, which doesn’t want to see K.P Sharma Oli as the Prime Minister, has continued its support to the government.
Prime Minister Oli had already described the present mess in the Parliament while justifying his action to dissolve the House. He had said that there were no other options for the government except for a fresh people’s mandate.
Now, the government is planning to develop an unholy alliance with the Janata Samajbadi Party by fulfilling the demands of the party. The demands include many anti-national and anti-social issues. Such an environment has developed after the parliament has reinstated. The agreement between the UML led government and JSP could be very expensive for the nation.
