Kathmandu, 25 March: The government organs have remained alert from possible incline on the Covid-19 infection cases.
There has already been seen the second wave of the Covid-19 cases on the Indian side of the Nepal-India borders. Its impact can be witnessed in Nepal within some weeks as Nepal-India borders are opened and there is a lack of health monitoring mechanism on those people arriving from India.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry on Wednesday informed that if the Covid-19 infection rate will become high, there is the possibility of imposing a lockdown.
The Ministry has urged people to maintain necessary precaution to avoid the Covid-19 infection.
Dr Sameerkumar Adhikari, co-spokesman of the Health Ministry said Wednesday that if the rate of infection becomes high, lockdown could be a compulsion for the government.
