Kathmandu, 23 March: Mega Bank Limited has handed over Rs 0.7 million to the family member of Bhola Ram Sharma who died in course of discharging his duty. Sharma, an employee of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Parbat distribution centre had maintained ‘Mega Corporate Benefit Saving Account’ at the bank.
As Mega Corporate Benefit Saving Account avails insurance benefit to every account holder, the amount was handed over to Sharma’s spouse Yam Kala Dhakal jointly by Mega Bank’s Gandaki Province Chief Gyanendra Panta and Kushma branch Manager Keshav Acharya amid a brief programme organized in Kushma on Sunday, according to a press release issued by the bank.
