Kathmandu, 20 March: The Government has given approval to Covaxin, A vaccine against Covid-19, for emergency use in Nepal.
The Department of Drug Administration, on Friday informed that Covaxin produced by Indian company named Bharat Bio-Tech international limited has been given consent to use in emergencies. With this, the number of companies receiving such approval has reached three. Earlier Covishield and Sinopharm received Nepal governments approval.
