Hillary Rhodam Clinton, Frist Lady of the United States, arrives in Kathmandu tomorrow heading a delegation including officials on the third-leg of her current, ten-day, and five-nation visit to South Asia.
Though she does not hold any formal position in the United Stated government her visit as well as the other four South Asian nations has considerable diplomatic significance. That is due not merely to the well-known fact that Hillary is one of her husband’s most important advisors on public affairs but also reflected in the pre-departure White House announcement that during her tour of South Asia she would be ready to discuss the entire range of issues affecting relations between the United States and her hosts, depending on their interest.
