Pushpakamal Dahal is the leader who had no belief in parliamentarian democracy. Today, Dahal is lauding for reinstating the House of Representatives that has been dissolved by PM KP Sharma Oli. Why he became a fan of the parliamentarian democracy?
Again, we all are aware that from the beginning, the then UML had chosen the election symbol “sun” and from the beginning, UML candidates were contesting elections with this symbol. Why Dahal is claiming the very election symbol “sun” today?
We all know that Mohan Bikram Singh is a communist leader who has sacrificed a lot for communism. Today, he is in favour of the restoration of the Parliament. It is because his party has the only one elected member in the parliament and that is his wife! Singh has sacrificed everything at the cost of his wife!
NC leaders in dilemma
Nepali Congress president Sher Bahadur Deuba is saying that the NC should respect the Supreme Court verdict. Therefore, he has suggested waiting till the SC verdict on the dissolution of the House.
Deuba has even said that NC should not be afraid of going to the fresh mandate.
On the other hand, Deuba’s rival Ramchandra Poudel is saying that PM Oli’s action for dissolving the House is a coup on the constitution and democracy. Therefore, to save the political achievements, NC should launch a movement against the government.
Against Poudel’s remarks, Deuba has commented saying that why Poudel is in favour of the restoration of the House when he is not a member of the Parliament!
It is said that the Dahal-Nepal faction has assured Poudel of rewarding him to the post of the President if the NC will join hands with them for launching a joint agitation. Therefore, Poudel is insisting the party launch agitation against Oli’s coup!
The NC also has become the victim of the personal interests of the leaderships!

It is said that the country is run by a group of brokers. PM KP Sharma Oli is under the strong grip of a group of brokers, whereas, Dahal-Nepal faction is under the grip of another group of brokers. Yeti Group, Deepak Bhatta, and some others are in Oli’s faction. They are using the state mechanism for their business gains. Some groups are trying to destroy government undertakings including Nepal Airlines. Some groups are capturing the historical sites for their business gains. A group is trying to run a bar in the Narayanhitty Royal Palace and running a hotel in the Ranimahl in Palpa.
When brokers run the government and mobilize the opposition party, let’s assume, where do we stand today!

Ramchandra Poudel is for joining hands with Prachanda-Nepal faction in agitation. Deuba had asked party cadres to vote for hammer and sickle. Both are the same. It was a big mistake to go to Delhi and make a deal with them involved in the bloodbath of thousands of NC cadres. That move was completely against BP’s reconciliation policy.
