The present battle between Oli and Prachanda-Madhav camp in the Nepal Communist Party is not an ideological battle but a dispute in sharing power by themselves and rewarding those nearer and dearer, including the family members. This is not a dispute for making Nepal. Even after knowing the fact, why the youths are running behind Oli or Prachanda-Nepal like leaders?
What did the youths get when Oli, Prachanda and Nepal were enjoying power together? Naturally, Pushpakamal Dahal, Madhav Nepal, and others, who were unable to enjoy and share power after the dispute, they can go to the street and demonstrate their muscle but why those hundreds of people are spending their valuable time in the streets, very much confusing!
Yesterday, when Prachanda and Nepal were the leaders of the ruling party, they enjoyed power. In every political appointment, they got their quota. The general public got nothing except for the heavy taxation imposed by the three-level governments.
Okay, they are demanding restoration of the dissolved parliament. If that happens, again, Prachanda’s daughter-in-law will become the minister, what will others get, just a question!
And will the restored parliament resolve the ongoing anomalies in the political arena?
And mid-term elections?
The mid-term elections will surely constitute a hung-parliament making busy those out-dated leaders conspiring against each other just to topple down one after another government.
The need of the time is to throw away the present political system and seek a sustainable political system that the country needs!
Let the youths stop running behind Prachanda and Oli, let them think about better Nepal!
Timber is spoiled
Billions of rupees worth timbers have been spoiled in different forests but the country is importing PVC board and furniture from foreign countries by spending billions of rupees. Due to the lack of necessary and effective laws, the government is unable to dispose of that spoiled timber. Is this the path to prosperity?
Due to lack of necessary laws, the two trains purchased by the government are being dumped for months. Is the government inefficient to that extent that it is unable to operate even two trains?
Say no to federalism!
Nirudevi Pal, former MP, who is closed to PM KP Sharma Oli, has stated in the social network that if PM Oli has courage, let he scrap the provincial governments, which is just a financial burden for the nation!
She has argued that in Nepal, there is no need of different provinces!
Agreed!
Again, power is off
After Kulman Ghishing retired from the Nepal Electricity Authority, again, electricity started to go off frequently. NEC has clarified that electricity has gone off not due to the load-shedding but due to the overload in the transmission line.
If this is true, why the Authority didn’t develop a plan to meet the market demand by expanding the capacity of the transmission lines before they saw this problem?
Interesting entertainment!
The leaders of the rival factions in the NCP are exposing each other publicly. The general public is enjoying free entertainment staged by the rival leaders in NCP.
The general public didn’t get anything from the government in the past three years except free entertainment staged by the leaders!
Small country, big politics
A Chinese team was in Kathmandu to observe the ongoing battle between the Oli faction and Prachanda-Nepal faction. They were confused as they didn’t find a roadmap for unity between the two factions.
They might have felt that although Nepal is a small country, there is big politics. Perhaps, they have understood, why Nepal is still in the group of least developed nations!
