Kathmandu, 13 December: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is convening at 1 o’clock at the party Headquarters, Dhumbarahi.
The meeting will discuss the disputes within the party and the solution to the crisis, but informal homework has not been enough to find a way out, according to leaders close to Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
It may be noted that the SC meeting was postponed for a week for informal discussion but no progress has been made so far. Instead, factional discussions and gatherings have taken place.
