
Kathmandu, 23 November: Maintaining the tradition of continuation to the regular exchange of high level visits between Nepal and India, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the visit of Indian Foreign Secretary at a time Nepal-India relations sour on several fronts including the Kalapani region of Nepal.
At the cordial invitation of the Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, the Foreign Secretary of India Shri Harsh Vardhan Shringla is paying a two-day official visit to Nepal from 26 to 27 November 2020.On the first day of the visit, the Foreign Secretaries of the two countries will hold bilateral meeting and discuss wide ranging areas of cooperation between Nepal and India.
The same day the Foreign Secretary of India is scheduled to call on the high level dignitaries of Nepal. He will also hand over Covid-19 related support to the Government of Nepal.The Foreign Secretary of India is scheduled to return New Delhi on 27 November 2020,according to a press release issued by MoFA this afternoon.
