Kathmandu, 21 November: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Saturday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 1,674 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours while conducting PCR test of 9,805 persons. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 218,639.
Among the new cases detected today 899 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley.
Today 2,323 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 193,325. As of today, there are 24,009 active cases of infection across the country.
A total of 7 people died of the deadly virus in the past 24 hours. With this the death toll has reached 1,305, according to MoHP.
