Kathmandu, 19 November: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has issued the Drug (Third Amendment) Ordinance, 2077. The ordinance has paved way for smooth procurement and management of anti-Covid-19 vaccine as well as other lifesaving drugs. The ordinance was issued in accordance with Article 114 (1) of Constitution of Nepal upon the recommendation of the Council of Ministers.
After almost a year of leaving with Covid-19, we finally have some good news that modern vaccine for the treatment of Corona virus patients have been successfully tested and their effectiveness proved by the scientist. Nepal can now procure the vaccine in a hassle free manner.
