
Kathmandu, 17 November: To mark the 112th birth anniversary of Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota, a literature festival was held in London-based Nepali Embassy on Saturday.
On the occasion, Michael Hutt, a retired professor of the London-based School of Oriental and African Studies, shed light on the overall evolutionary development of Nepali literature and highlighted the contributions of the great poet.
Nepal’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom Durga Bahadur Subedi stressed the contributions of literary writers residing in the UK to the enrichment and enhancement of Nepali language and literature.
