Kathmandu, 12 November: Police in Kavrepalanchowk district have arrested a leader of Nepal Communist Party-Maoist led by Netra Bikram Chand aka ‘Biplav’on the charge of extortion.
Madhusudan Bajagain was apprehended from his residence Shankhupatichaur in Dhulikhel Municipality-12 for his alleged involved in extortion, according to the District Police Office. Bajagain has admitted to police about his association with the Chand-led party that has been declared a terrorist outfit by the incumbent government.
