Monday was the 106th death anniversary of NC’s paramount leader Ganeshman Singh. The facebook and Twitter wall were full with big words for late Sing. Oddly, those NC leaders, who were involved in conspiring against Singh when he was alive, are found spending words for him. To recall, during his last days, late Singh was no more an NC leader alike another pioneer NC leader Krishna Prasad Bhattarai. The party was solely captured by Girija Prasad Koirala & Co by hook or crook.
Helpless KP Oli
KP Sharma Oli is the prime minister of the country and also the chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). The party enjoys a virtually two-thirds majority, yet, PM Oli is so weak that he is even unable to reshuffle his cabinet.
Now, he is seeking help to save his party. On Sunday, he begged support of party’s senior leader Madhav Nepal. Unfortunately, nobody has come to rescue him!
Floods of congratulations!
Saw floods of congratulations to the president-elect and vice-president-elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris by the Nepali folks in social networks. Why are they so excited from the election in the USA and change of the guard there as nothing is going to be changed on the American strategy in Nepal or South Asia or Asia. Either he was Trump or he is Biden, the American ambition is to keep continue their supremacy by initiating war in developing countries.
The communists in the government
There is the communist government in Nepal. Communists are the representatives of those deprived group of people, including labourers and peasants. In Nepal, it is odd. Labourers are unable to manage their two-time-meals as they have lost their job due to the prolonged lockdown and spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country. Peasants are also suffering from many problems in this communist rule. They are not getting the price of their agro-products, they are not getting fertilizer on time and those sugarcane farmers are not getting the payment of the sugarcane supplied to the sugar mills years ago.
The communists in the government are enjoying Scotch whisky, wearing branded watches and branded clothes! The chairman of the communist party enjoys daily non-veg meal cooked on firewood. All daily essential items come for them from those middlemen, brokers, commission agents and construction contractors at free of cost. How nice!
