Kathmandu. 6 November: Indian Army Chief Gen. Manoj Mukund Naravane has called on Prime Minister KP Oli at his official residence in Baluwatar today.
Indian ambassador Vinay Mohan Kwatra was also present on the occasion.
During the meeting, PM Oli expressed the hope that all the issues between the two countries would be resolved through talks.
PM Oli’s Foreign Affairs Advisor, Rajan Bhattarai, and Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal were also present on the occasion.
Earlier, the Indian Army chief was conferred with the honorary title of the General of Nepal Army by President Bidya Devi Bhandari.
Bhandari had also asked the Indian Army chief to resume talks between the two countries.
