Kathmandu, 5 November: The ruling Nepal Communist Party is facing a serious crisis. The party’s co-chairman Pushpakamal Dahal Prachanda and senior leader Madhav Nepal group have reached to a conclusion to demand the resignation of Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli from both the posts – PM and party chairman.
Following the decision, Prachanda has reached to Baluatar to inform chairman Oli about calling party’s standing committee meeting soon. Even if Oli will deny calling the meeting, the Prachanda-Nepal faction is set to call the meeting and take party action against Oli.
On the other hand, PM Oli may take any unfortunate action possibly declaration of an emergency or dissolve of the parliament. The Prachanda-Nepal camp has also consulted with the legal experts on such a possible act by Oli.
Meanwhile, PM Oli has briefed his colleagues in the cabinet that a serious crisis may occur in the country. At the cabinet meeting held this morning, PM Oli said that both the party and the nation may face a serious crisis.
