Kathmandu, 2 November: Ninety-three progressive writers have demanded the cancellation of Indian Army chief general Manoj Mukund Naravane’s visit to Nepal
The progressive writers and litterateurs issuing a statement today have demanded cancellation of Narvane’s visit citing his recent derogatory remarks on Nepal. They have objected to his visit stating that he does not deserve to be conferred with Generals title.
Narvane is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu on Wednesday at the invitation of Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa.
