Kathmandu, 20 October: Due to Covid-19 pandemic, the Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs) have decided not to open during the Dashain festival.
The Nepal Bankers Association (NBA) decided not to open any branch offices during the Dashain as infection could be witnessed due to heavy flow of service seekers while opening limited branch offices. All commercial banks would be closed from October 23 to 27, according to NBA. It has urged the costumers to follow digital transaction until Covid-19 pandemic subsides.
