Kathmandu, 11 October: The Bal Gopaleshwor Temple at historic Ranipokhari would be open for public on the day of Bhaitika, November 16.
Reconstruction of Ranipokhari and the temple damaged by the 2015 earthquake has been completed. Preparations are underway for Head of the State to inaugurate the newly reconstructed Ranipokhari before Dashain festival beginning October 17, according to the National Reconstruction Authority.
The Ranipokhari area looks attractive after the reconstruction of the Shikhar-style temple and the filling of the pond with water.
Reconstruction work was halted for several months due to the lockdown. Later, the work was resumed by adopting health standards.
