Kathmandu, 10 October: The Nepal Police Headquarters has appealed not to use the uniforms of the Nepal Police in movies, tele-films, short films, music videos, prank videos, TikTok videos and other television and stage programmes without approval of the Public Relations and Publicity Unit of the Police Headquarters.
Issuing a statement, it has warned against the abuse of uniforms, it has said that stern action would be taken against those involved in Nepal Police monogram, uniforms and badge.
It has also stated that the Public Relations and Publicity Unit of the Naxal-based Police Headquarters is authorized to approve the use of police uniforms for the mentioned purposes.
