Kathmandu, 10 October: The country has witnessed a huge surge of Covid-19 infection with 5,008 new cases of infection on Saturday. This is yet another record high single day infection that has added active caseload to 30,818 so far. The total number of infections across the country has reached 105,684.
The Kathmandu Valley recorded 2,672 infection cases, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Today 1,229 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 74,252.
