Kathmandu, 9 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Friday. the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has confirmed 2,059 fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the new addition, the number of infected persons has reached 100,676.
Among the new cases detected today, 1,409 have been reported from within the Kathmandu Valley. Today 1,680 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 73,023. As of today, there are 27,053 active cases of infection across the country.
