Kathmandu, 5 October: Nineteen new fatalities have been reported on Monday. With the latest addition, the death toll has jumped to 554. This is the highest death toll recorded so far.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), among the deceased 14 males and five females. Nine patients from Kathmandu, three from Lalitpur including a three-year-old boy,two from Sarlahi.one each from Sunsari, Chitwan, Nawalparasi(East), Parsa and Gorkha district succumbed to the deadly virus in the past 24 hours.
