Kathmandu, 5 October: Nepal continues to witness resurgence of Covid-19 cases every other day. On Monday the Ministry of Health and Population has confirmed 2,440. fresh cases of corona virus infection across the country in the past 24 hours. With the latest addition, the number of infected persons has reached 89,263.
Today 1,133 corona virus patients were discharged from various health institutions across the country following recovery. With this, the total number of recoveries stands at 65,202. As of today, there are 23,507 active cases of infection across the country.
